BIOGRAPHY
Amanda Rothwell-Hiscock is an Associate at Rothwell Lawyers. She has been with the firm since 2014, and over her tenure has held a range of responsibilities, including multiple periods effectively managing the firm. Amanda now oversees the Conveyancing and Debt Recovery departments, ensuring the teams deliver practical and efficient solutions for clients.
She has appeared in numerous Victorian court jurisdictions, instructed in all Victorian and Federal jurisdictions including the High Court, and has experience in interstate matters. Amanda focuses on providing practical, commercially driven advice to clients, particularly in insolvency and credit management.
Amanda completed her Law Degree in 2023 and was admitted as a lawyer in 2024. She regularly delivers in-house training for clients and speaks at industry seminars and conferences. Her legal resources are now used in RMIT University’s curriculum, reflecting her clarity, rigour, and practical insight.
She is currently President of the Victorian/Tasmanian Division of the Australian Institute of Credit Management (AICM) and Chair of the Professional Development
Subcommittee for Women in Insolvency and Restructuring Victoria. Amanda is also a Director of the Stop Stalking Now Foundation. Her contributions have been recognised through multiple industry awards, including Vic/Tas Young Credit Professional of the Year (2024) and several national AICM awards.
Outside work, Amanda is a devoted Carlton supporter and avid netballer, bringing energy, grit, and good humour to both sport and her professional life.
