Belinda Glare

Belinda’s journey at Rothwell Lawyers began straight out of law school in August 2006 when Tracey Rothwell took a chance on a girl from Tasmania.

Belinda originally practiced in insolvency and commercial litigation in all courts and jurisdictions.

In 2012, Belinda made the decision to concentrate on her family and left Rothwell Lawyers to work part-time as a credit analyst at one of the largest pork producers in Australia.

In early 2020, Belinda made the decision to return to Melbourne and began working back with Rothwell Lawyers. As a credit analyst, Belinda has obtained valuable experience in managing one of Australia’s biggest primary producers ledgers. Being on the other side of credit, Belinda brings this back to her law practice and is imminently place to advise directors and other stakeholders.

Since returning Belinda’s focus has been developing Rothwell Lawyers, Family Law practice, and dealing in aspects of Commercial Litigation and Insolvency aspects. Further Belinda’s has gained experience in the appeals in the Supreme Court, Court of Appeal and the High Court.

Belinda brings a unique prospective to Family Law by utilising her commercial and insolvency knowledge to assist clients. Belinda is currently undertaking a Masters of Law (Applied Law) on Family Law which she aims to complete in 2024.

Belinda is an enthusiastic member of our team who is ambitious and loves a challenge.

Outside of work Belinda likes to research her Genealogy and sail.
