BIOGRAPHY
Starting as a receptionist and events manager in 2014 with Rothwell Lawyers, Amanda is the head of conveyancing, debt recovery probate and wills. Amanda has experience in all Victorian Courts, Federal Court Winding Up and Bankruptcy as well as interstate enforcement proceedings. From its introduction, Amanda has been at the forefront of PEXA; online conveyancing platform.
Recently forming and in conjunction with Belinda Glare, Amanda is our senior collections agent at our sister company, Melbourne Debt Collectors. Amanda is not afraid to get on the phone and contact debtors.
Our paralegal is currently in her final year of studying law at Victoria University with a keen eye on Civil Procedure, Conveyancing and Criminology matters.
In her career thus far, Amanda was a finalist of AICM’s Young Credit Professional of the Year in 2018 and 2023, finalist for AICM’s Credit Solution Provider in 2022, Nominee for WIRV Young Gun Award 2023 and assisting at AICM/Rothwell Lawyers Workshops and attending AICM conferences. It is clear that her passion lies with credit management, debt recovery and insolvency sphere.
Amanda’s aspiration is to one day be a director of Rothwell Lawyers; she is often seen at client events and networking for the future.
Amanda has a keen sense of social justice. She has previously supported WhiteLion, being instrumental in its Bail Out major fund raiser. Amanda is currently a director of Stop Stalking Now Foundation Ltd – Australia’s only charity dedicated to the prevention of the crime of Stalking and raising awareness of the impact of this crime. Amanda is passionate about her role as director and encourages all of us to talk about this topic.
Outside of work Amanda is an ambitious netballer and avid Carlton supporter.
Amanda is currently taking spec matters to broaden her horizon on insolvency matters.
